We have Pete Anderson as a guest. He was interviewing the guys for a local newspaper article centered around the Podcast, baits, and guide service. When we turned the tables on him and had him get interviewed on this podcast. Pete is just getting into musky fishing, but is a accomplished bass fisherman. We chatted about similarities between the two species in fishing styles, boats, tournaments... It was a good time. Thanks for listening

We start off the show with Andy giving a run down of the shed hunt we went on March 17-19 at Whitetail Heaven outfitters in KY. Then we get into an interview part. We interviewed Todd Young, from Muddy Creek Fishing Guides, not because we couldn't find a guest but because we felt it was over due to expose the truths of Todd Young. So we did a Q&A with Todd, that Andy and Vance knew most of the answers. The cover art of this episode is the photo Todd talks about starring at a musky in diapers.

In this installment of Controversial Topics the guys discuss "Water Temperature". This topic is debated that water can be to cold, spawning temp, or two hot. This leaves little room for "safe fishing". We do not claim to be biologists, or any other form of scientists, we are just discussing the topic as we see it. We are trying to hit all sides to show as much of the picture as we can, in hopes to let the listeners decide for themselves what is the route they will take. Andy, Vance, and Todd discuss the last show of the season, the Musky Max in Cranberry, PA. One story from the weekend had to do with a "what if" situation on the highway. Andy, Vance and Todd discuss rods and reels. Andy tries to explain why gear ratio isn't the determining factor in how fast a reel is. Then we switch gears and talk about two items that sort of took flight in the past day or so online. One being a glove thread on M1 (thanks gear man for pointing it out) The other a video a person posted of their first musky, that shows all the common rookie mistakes, and how quickly this kids moment of excitement and joy can be ripped down by people pointing out the obvious mistakes that just about every one in musky fishing has done. Patrick is the president of the Nittany Valley Musky Alliance, which is a chapter of Muskie Inc located in the center of Pennsylvania. It is a fairly new chapter of Muskie Inc, but is doing heading up some projects that draw from a large area. We discuss the Beast of the East fly fishing tournament. Talked a little of last years event, brought up some changes to this years event. Pretty cool stuff so any anglers who like to chase musky with a fly rod should at least check it out. While prepping for this podcast we realized just how controversial just about every aspect of musky fishing is. Like most things in life once you start understanding the working of a process you also realize nothing is cut and dry, black and white, all bad or all good. So this podcast is all about the Boga Grip. Love them or hate them we hope people can listen with an open mind, there is a lot of good points to ponder in this show.
