Trips to Canada part 2, and trolling motor gear review

Andy starts off with a very short, mildly eventful fishing report, then the guys move onto something a little less depressing... Todd and Vance talk about more past trips to Canada. We wrap up the show with a gear review, we talk trolling motors. The good the bad, our experiences. We have been trying to start up "Gear Reviews" for several weeks we final was able to do this one. Fish curses, Dead muskies, Show season

Its getting to be show season soon. The guys talk about the shows they will be at, and talk about shows in general. Andy gives a brief fishing report that takes flight into a dead musky discussion. Ethics on dead fish, what would you do if you had a legal fish die, creel limits and the dilemma or right vs wrong. Then Andy thinks he has a curse on him that stemmed this whole conversation. William Bennett, Hoosier Heartland Guide Service

This weeks podcast we have guest Bill Bennett. This was the first time any of us had talked to him (besides messaging online to set up the interview). We discussed what he does, where he does it. The state of his musky fishery, baits he like to cast and troll. We talked alot about live bait fishing. We have hit on live bait fishing in the past and the lack of sucker fishing in the area we are from, so we talked in depth about sucker fishing. Andy coined the phrase "Musky Double Tap", we learn the three most important release tools in Andy's boat, We venture to speculate how states find the trade value of a baby musky. (all jokes) It was fun, check Bill out if your looking to fish Indiana.

Vances first day hunting

This podcast has little to with fishing. It has alot to do with Vance going hunting for the first time...EVER. The story, emotion, journey, and what it means for the future of hunting for Vance. Even if your not interested in our coverage of hunting season this podcast should be able to cross reference into another activity that most people have been a part of either as the newbie or the person taking a newbie. Good stuff, and the story is captured on this show.

Little hunting talk, a whole lot of fishing with Wade Alexander

We hit a fishing report from Vance, Then drew the winner of the Mudpuppy Raptor, andy gave a very quick anticlimactic fishing report, Todd tells of his fast hunting season again. The we drive into talking with Wade who guides for Midnight Sun Trophy Pike. I will say this, there isn't a fishery in the lower 48 that can do what Wade talks about. I wont say anymore, so you have to listen.

Half hunting/half fishing

Here we are less than a week before the PA deer rifle season, but we are still fishing a little. People who hunt and fish know the struggle of balancing between the two. Anyway the first 41 minutes somehow became a talk on deer hunting, it wasn't planned it just happened like a lot of what is said on the our podcast. If you don't want to hear us talk about hunting then skip ahead. We got back on musky fishing and did some fishing reports. Andy took Todd out and found out that his style is full contact fishing. Vance went out and keep on the routine. We talk about the mention in Musky hunter, we may have something really cool in the works for the upcoming musky shows. Thanks for listening
