This show Andy, Vance, and Todd all share the events from the opening two weekends of musky season. Each one of them have stories, some more news worthy than others but entertaining none the less.

This episode Eric Larson was our guest. The guys hit up a quick fishing report, then dove into Eric Larson life as a musky guide and bait maker. We discussed lakes he fishes, tactics, boats, going the extra mile, stocking, trolling.... We covered a lot. We did have everyone on speaker phone, for the most part it worked out but we are aware that we did get some feed back once in a while Thanks for listening

The guys shoot the breeze on some of Todds trips he did in prior weeks, exchange stories, bust on each other. Vance gives an update on his boat situation, and goes against the "what would Todd do" voice inside his head. We will keep you updated on how that works out.

The guys talk about general, easy to do maintenance and prep work for your fishing gear. We have had requests to do a show like this, what better time than in spring. A lot of the things we talked about can be spread out over the winter months making the lists of tasks seem less daunting. Basic maintenance that can make your gear last longer, and have a more enjoyable time on the water. Thanks for listening

Steve joins us via speaker phone. We talk about some recent fishing trips, bait modifications, taking kids fishing, poke fun at each other. More or less a typical Gear Man Steve podcast.

We start off by picking up where we left off last week. We lead on that Vance's boat was not where it should be a week or so before the Cave Run PMTT. So we told the story of the issues leading up to Todd and Vance's departure. Then Todd and Vance give their PMTT story, like many boats that were in the tournament, there was opportunity, but sometimes its doesn't quite happen.

We talk about the PMTT, Todd and Vance will be leaving in a couple days to pre fish the tournament. Todd shares stories of PMTT past, the game of 1/4"s that has came to play more than once with fish caught, stories of travel to events, expectations... Andy and Vance share stories of waterfowl they encountered. We quickly hit on some whitetail hunting talk.

The guys talk about what they would do in a situation that was make believe from the very start. The topics they talk about in this show are, 1. What would you do if you had a world record musky in the net? 2. What boat would you have if money was not an issue?
